As a probation officer, I’ve seen firsthand how gun violence tears families and communities apart. Every Minnesotan deserves to feel safe at home, at school, and in their neighborhood.

I support common-sense gun safety reforms: expanding background checks, closing loopholes, keeping guns out of the hands of domestic abusers, and making it possible for communities to ban assault weapons. I’ll also invest in community-based prevention programs and mental health services that save lives before tragedy strikes.

Protecting people and building safer communities isn’t just good policy, it’s a moral responsibility.
